Falconara Park Zoo

Falconara Zoo Park is a modern zoo located in the town of Falconara Marittima, in the province of Ancona.

Founded in 1968 on private initiative, to date it covers about 60,000 square meters on a hill overlooking the Adriatic Sea.

It houses about 200 specimens belonging to different species including Mammals, Birds and Reptiles.

The mission of Falconara Zoo Park is based on four main pillars: animal welfare, environmental education, scientific research and species conservation.

The Park provides animals with optimal living conditions and specialized veterinary care, promotes environmental awareness through educational activities, collaborates with universities to deepen scientific knowledge, and participates in conservation programs to protect endangered species by supporting international biodiversity protection projects.
